For our veterinary faculty students, there is a large animal hospital and a wide farm for all kinds of animal breeding. These facilities are designed to provide our students with practical experience in the field of animal health and breeding. The Faculty of Sports Sciences is located under a stadium with a capacity of 15,000 people and includes halls and fields for almost all sports branches. The sports camp center at our university offers our students the opportunity to interact with professional athletes and coaches and benefit from their experiences.

There is a 5-star hotel serving as a practical training area for our tourism students, and 3 practice kitchens for our culinary students. Burdur Mehmet Akif Ersoy University Career School is a skill-oriented program aimed at determining the fields in which students consider pursuing a career, accompanied by psychometric measurements and career counseling, and developing their competencies in the knowledge, skills, and information technologies required by this career field. From the career planning stage to the job search process, professional career counselors assigned to the career coordination provide students with services in the fields of vocational counseling, career planning, and career psychological counseling. An approved official participation or achievement certificate is given for each completed training or event. Students who successfully complete all trainings and events are awarded a diploma approved by the MAKÜ Rectorate, documenting the entire development process. Applications and admissions to all training programs are carried out through our university's Career Development and Monitoring System (KARGİS).

Individual study rooms, computer hall, and user trainings offered for our students and faculty members support and facilitate research and learning processes. In addition, customized facilities such as drawing tables allocated for our engineering and architecture students encourage interdisciplinary studies. At MAKÜ, students enrolled in a total of 39 associate and undergraduate programs have the opportunity to graduate with a double diploma through the double major program (ÇAP), while students enrolled in 27 programs have the opportunity to graduate with a minor certificate through minor certificate programs. 

In the ÇAP program, students earn the right to graduate from both departments by successfully passing different courses in the second department without retaking the common courses between the eligible programs. Students who succeed by participating in the double major program are awarded two separate diplomas for the two departments. Double major programs can be conducted between programs in different units as well as between programs in the same unit. Additionally, having a double diploma in associate degree programs increases the options for students who wish to complete their undergraduate degree with the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS).

The minor certificate program is a program that allows students to receive a minor certificate if they successfully complete a certain number of courses in a specific area within the scope of another diploma program. Taking courses in a second field provides the opportunity to experience two different learning environments and gain professional competence in different areas, bringing many advantages to graduates in their careers. The student can develop themselves in a versatile manner, gaining knowledge and vision, and thus having the opportunity to excel among their peers.

In the rapidly changing and uncertain world of the 21st century, classical education models are no longer sufficient. While a university diploma is no longer a guarantee on its own, the business world prefers individuals who can think flexibly, possess versatile skills, and are open to learning. All these badges can be tracked in an integrated manner with the digital system of the Ministry of Industry and Technology; they are transparent, reliable, and recognized documents in the business world.

These micro programs, developed specifically by each of our units, support not only individual development but also the strategic transformation of our university. In BMYPs, students receive education not only from academic experts but also from industry representatives. In other words, MAKÜ students gain real sector experience while learning. At least 30% of the programs are conducted with direct contributions from the business world.
