National Competence Initiative Capsule applications have started!

National Competence Initiative Capsule is a multi-faceted education program brought to life with the contributions of experts working in institutions that guide the strategic vision of our country; enriched with technical and social content training modules.

The program aims to ensure that participants gain knowledge, awareness, and competence specifically in the defense industry; and at the same time, to support their intellectual production and solution development skills regarding local and national technologies.

About the Program

National Competence Initiative Capsule will be held at the T.C. Presidential National Library in classes of 25 people, for a total of 1 week and 4 repeated periods. The program will progress with the same content specific to disciplines by forming separate groups each week for students studying in the fields of social sciences and engineering.

A total of 200 university students selected from all over Turkey will come together at the National Library in Ankara to experience a unique education and development experience focused on the defense industry. Those who successfully complete the program will be given a certificate via e-government.

Training Schedule

1. Group July 7 - 11, 2025
2. Group July 14 - 19, 2025 (July 15 is a Public Holiday)
3. Group July 21 - 25, 2025
4. Group July 28 - August 1, 2025

Application Criteria

Candidates applying to Capsule must meet the following conditions;

• Be a T.C. citizen

• Be an active undergraduate student in the relevant departments in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th years and document this (Click to view the department list)

• Have a weighted GPA of 2.50 or above

• Have the desire to be among the future defense industry professionals and a motivation open to development

• If any, participation and award documents related to national and international competitions such as TEKNOFEST, TÜBİTAK, etc.
